How do I deposit funds via my credit or debit card?

A convenient way to deposit and withdraw from your William Hill account is via our secure online payment system using either your Credit or Debit Card. We accept both Visa and MasterCard transactions and most importantly your funds are available instantly!

Instructions

  1. Login to your William Hill account.
  2. Click on My Balance towards the top of the page and select Deposit. The Deposit window will appear.
  3. Select the Card tab.
  4. Enter the amount you wish to deposit and your details.
  5. Click Deposit.

Following your first deposit, William Hill may need to verify your Credit or Debit Card at the discretion of the cashier department.

Please note:

  • Diners and AMEX cards are not accepted
  • The following banks are known to decline gambling transactions: Citibank, Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money and Suncorp. Please check with your bank to see if they allow gambling related transactions as this may be the issue if you are having problems with making a deposit via this method.
  • William Hill do not charge credit card fees however some credit card deposits may be subjected to a ‘cash advance’ fee as enforced by individual banks. Please check with your bank to see if your deposit will be treated as a ‘cash advance’.

BPay deposits may be made by either contacting your participating Financial Institution via internet banking, or telephone.

Instructions

  1. Login to your William Hill account.
  2. Click on My Balance towards the top of the page and select Deposit. The Deposit window will appear.
  3. Select the BPay tab.
  4. Note both the Biller Code and Customer Reference Number.
  5. Using your online banking account make your deposit using these BPay details.

When will funds reach my account?

  • Before 4:00pm (AEST) Monday to Friday – Funds will be available in your account the following morning before 10:00am (AEST); however some banks/credit unions may take longer.
  • After 4:00pm (AEST) Monday to Friday – Deposits are processed the following day meaning you will unfortunately need to wait another day till funds are available.
  • After 4:00pm (AEST) Friday to Sunday – Deposits will not be processed by your bank/credit union until the following Monday meaning you will need to wait till Tuesday for funds to be available.

NOTE: Citibank users will not be able to transfer funds via the internet from their Citibank account. Minimum deposit amount using BPay for NAB is set at $50.

Deposits can be made directly into William Hill Australia’s bank account. You can notify us of the deposit by calling Customer Service on 1800 007 238 or by emailing cashier@williamhill.com.au.

To send your Bank Wire you will need the following pieces of information.

  • Bank Name: National Australia Bank
  • Account Name: William Hill Australia Trading Pty Limited
  • BSB: 085 933
  • Account Number: 54 276 0186
  • Reference: Your William Hill PIN

Please include your account PIN number in the reference field. Without this number it will take longer for us to credit your account. If you are unable to use the PIN as reference please give us a call 1800 007 238.

MasterPass is a service that enables customers to deposit funds in their betting account on our website using any MasterPass connected wallet. When a customer is ready to deposit, their information will be securely shared with our website, speeding up the checkout process. MasterPass Deposit & Withdrawal Tips:

Once your card has been used to deposit funds you may be asked for security purposes to provide a once-off copy of both sides of your card. This copy must be sent via fax or email prior to your next request to withdraw funds from your betting account. Please refer to the contact us section of our website for the email address or fax number to send this copy. Nb. This is a compulsory requirement for all players.

If you have another William Hill account on which your card is registered you will not be able to register the same card again. In such a case please contact customer services to retrieve your other account details so that you can use the card in question.

Any unused deposits to your William Hill account will be refunded back to the same card used the deposit with. This is a requirement of our Anti Money Laundering process.

If you do not have a PayPal account, not a problem, you will be prompted by PayPal to create an account during the deposit via PayPal process.
