EachWay Cash Deposits – FAQs
EachWay is a funds loading service where you can make a deposit via cash, credit card, debit card or eftpos card directly into your William Hill online betting account in store at participating retailers. To avail of the EachWay product offering, you must have a William Hill card. You can obtain a William Hill card by logging into your William Hill account and applying via the ‘My Account’ section of the William Hill website or app.
The EachWay product is a barcode printed on the back of the William Hill Card that can be scanned in participating retail stores to complete a deposit directly into your William Hill account. The mag-stipe on the back of your William Hill card may also be used to complete a deposit at the POS terminal rather than the barcode, depending on the retailer. The EachWay product on the back of your William Hill card also indicates the standard load amount – this is the minimum transaction amount you will need to pay, and the deposit value that will be added to your William Hill betting account. You may also complete deposits in increments of the standard load amount in the event you want to deposit a higher amount.
You can use your William Hill card to complete an EachWay cash deposit at thousands of participating retailers nationwide, so there should be a retailer near to you for your convenience. To identify your closest participating retailer, log into your William Hill account and navigate to the “Cash Deposit” option within the deposit area. From there you will be able to access a store-locator to identify the location of your nearest participating retailer.
All you need to take with you to a participating retailer is your William Hill card and your selected payment method.
You can deposit money into your account using the William Hill card EachWay product by following the steps below:
- Take your William Hill card to the counter of a participating retailer.
- The retailer will scan the barcode or swipe the mag-stripe on the back of your William Hill card.
- Pay via cash, eftpos, debit card or credit card.
- Your checkout and load confirmation receipt will be provided.
- Your William Hill betting account balance (not your William Hill card balance) will update automatically.
- Request a receipt of your completed transaction for your records.
Depending on the retailer, it is possible that you will only be able to scan one time per transaction – if you wish to deposit a higher amount than the standard load amount, you may need to complete the checkout process again.
Please note that the EachWay load will credit funds directly to your William Hill betting account, and not to the balance of your William Hill card. From your William Hill betting account, funds will need to be turned over through betting activity before you can withdraw via your William Hill card.
No, EachWay is very simple to use – simply scan the barcode or swipe the card at the retailer, pay, and the funds will be automatically loaded to your William Hill betting account.
As with any purchase at a retailer, you can expect a receipt of your purchase.
Specifically for EachWay, you will also get a separate receipt detailing the load transaction (Note: the receipt may be called a card activation receipt, but will be a receipt for the load). The receipt may also include words to the effect of “allow 24 hours for your card to be activated” – please ignore this message as it is a limitation of some retailer’s POS terminals, and please be assured that the EachWay load can be expected to be instant, and not delayed by 24 hours. If your load has not appeared in your William Hill betting account within a few minutes, please contact William Hill customer support for assistance.
You should retain the receipt until you have confirmed receipt of funds in your account.
Whichever way you choose to deposit, your William Hill betting account will update with the tendered amount automatically as soon as the transaction is completed. The load should be instant but please allow for a few minutes of delay.
Contact William Hill customer support in the first instance and we will help investigate the issue. Please ensure you keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
You can load the amount shown next to the barcode or increments of the load amount in the event you want to deposit a higher amount. The loads are in fixed denominations of $50. You can return to a participating retailer to re-use EachWay, but depending on the retailer you may be limited to one load per transaction.
If you have pre-commitment deposit limits or other such limits applied to your account, any surplus amounts loaded via EachWay may be returned to you or otherwise held from your William Hill betting account until such time as they can be credited to your William Hill betting account and accessed. Please contact William Hill customer support for more information regarding treatment of payments made in excess of your pre-commitment deposit limit or other account limitation.
No – funds loaded to your William Hill betting account via EachWay do not expire, subject to the terms and conditions of your William Hill betting account.
Yes – you can return to a participating retailer any time with your William Hill card to top up your William Hill betting account again using the EachWay product.
Please contact William Hill customer service.
Please contact William Hill customer support to advise of the issue you are experiencing and we will assist.
Unfortunately it is not possible to refund transactions. However, please contact our customer support team where you require assistance and remember to retain your receipt when you complete a transaction at a participating retailer.
No, the amount you pay will be the amount credited to your William Hill betting account – there are no fees for completing an EachWay cash deposit. However retailer fees may apply depending on the payment method used at participating retailers, for example credit card surcharges.
Refer to Williamhill.com.au for more information and to read the full Terms and Conditions of EachWay.
